Bring the Elephant Home

Bring the Elephant Home

Protection for wild elephants

Background

The Bring the Elephant Home team is based on the border of Kuiburi National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Thailand. The national park is home to 300 wild elephants, one of the last viable populations of wild elephants in Thailand.

For a good cause

The project supports farmers to plant chillies, lemongrass, galangal, lime, and other crops which are disliked by elephants. This results in less damage by wild elephants in plantations and makes coexistence possible.
